There are 2 famous Curry Chicken Noodles in Hong Lim Food Centre, 531A Upper Cross Street, 1 is Heng Kee and the other being Ah Heng Curry Chicken Bee Hoon Mee which is at stall #02-58/59 which is directly above Heng Kee.
The queues here are almost as long as Heng Kee's and although the chef here makes the food faster, you will still have to wait at least 20 minutes before you get your bowl of noodles.
To be honest, coming to have curry chicken noodles at Hong Lim, it is almost impossible not to compare the 2 curry chicken noodle stalls. In my humble opinion, the main difference of the two will be the gravy, although similar taste-wise, Heng Kee has a thicker curry while Ah Heng's version is more watery. The chili that both stalls provide are different too.
I believe it is really your preference, as both are good, but if you like a thicker curry, go for Heng Kee, and if you prefer a less thick version, go for Ah Heng.
Ah Heng is also cheaper when compared to Heng Kee.
