I'm sure everyone has heard of 328 Katong Laksa. 1 of the most popular Laksa places in Singapore, they even won a cook off against Gordon Ramsay in a event awhile back. They have quite a few stalls located along East Coast Road. This was taken at their flagship shop at 216 East Coast Road.

Traditional Bak Kut Teh - Pig Organ Soup - Kway Chap

This stall located at Bedok Corner (1 Bedok Road , stall 19) sells a variety of food. They sell Bak Kut Teh, pig organ soup, kway chap, pig kidney and liver mee sua... just to name a few, however my absolute favorite when I come here, is to order their Claypot Yellow Rice Wine Chicken(黄酒雞).

[Recipe] Cream of Pumpkin Soup

Ingredients:
1 whole Pumpkin
2 Potatoes
2 Onions
1L of Chicken Broth
1 packet of whip/cooking cream
Salt
Black Pepper

Optional: Curry Powder(2 Tablespoon)
              1 or 2 cloves of Garlic

Total time ~ 2 hours.
Serves 6-8

is an old establishment that has been around for as long as I can remember. 

Bagus La Mian Yong Taufu

Xing Yun Kway Chap is a popular stall here that serves good Kway Chap.

Tsukihitei (月日亭)

Located steps away from the Kintetsu Nara Station, on the busy Higashimuki-dori is this traditional japanese cuisine restaurant called Tsukihitei. The place itself is quite hidden (it is on the second floor) and it might take awhile to look for, especially if you do not know the kanji of the shop's name. The full address is 6 Higashimuki Nakamachi, Nara Pref Economic Club Bldg. 2F, Nara, Nara Prefecture 630-8215.

Minoringo (みのりんご)

Minoringo is a highly rated curry house in Harajuku, Japan. It is located at 1-22-7, Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Japan(map) The places closes in the afternoon once they sell out at around 3-4pm and re-opens at night, so if you do come here for lunch, don't come too late. 

Sushi Daiwa (大和寿司)

Located in the Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo Japan, there are 2 very famous sushi restaurant in Tsukiji, Sushi Dai, which is ran by the father, and Sushi Daiwa, which is ran by the son. You cannot go wrong with either of these restaurants, but sushi Daiwa has a slightly shorter queue than Dai. You still got to wait for about an hour to get in, unless you are alone, which will get you a seat fairly quickly.

Jirisan (지리산)

Located in Insadong (30, Insadong 14-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul), an area known for traditional culture in Korea is the restaurant called Jirisan which serves traditional Korean cuisine in a traditional Korean house. The first thing you have to do when you enter the restaurant is to take off your shoes, as you will be sitting on the floor(cushion provided)

Imun Seolnongtang (이문설농탕)

Seolnongtang also known as seolleongtang is a traditional korean ox bone soup. Imun Seolnongtang has been opened for over 100 years since 1907. Imun is also known as 1 of the oldest restaurants in Korea, so to experience the most traditional seolleongtang, you can't go wrong visiting this place. It is located at 38-13 Ujeongguk-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea

Migabon (미가본 / 味加本)

Migabon, located at 2F 2-23, Myeongdong 2 ga, Jung-gu is a places that serves very good porridge. They serve over 20 different type of porridge, and they are also popular for they samgyetang(ginseng chicken)

They are located on the second floor, so you need to climb up the stairs on the left. If you can't find the shop, just ask any walking guide helpers walking around Myeongdong.

Mubanna Chondak(무봤나 촌닭)

Mubanna Chondak is a chain stall that sells chicken in korean chili paste sauce. You can find them in most shopping areas in Seoul and Busan. The place we went to at Hongdae is pretty crowded, and luckily we were only 2 people, so we got seated quite quickly. Other groups who had more people had to wait quite a long time.

Myeongdong Gyoja (명동교자)

If you have been to Myeong-dong, I'm sure you've heard of Myeongdong Gyoja(Gyoza), it is a very famous noodle restaurant that has been operating for over 40 years. Their handmade Kalguksu noodles is served in a deep and flavorful broth. And of course they are also famous for their mandu.

Doong Ji Korean Restaurant

Located at 222 East Coast Road, Doong Ji Korean Restaurant serves pretty good Korean food.

Beach Road Prawn Noodles

The Famous Beach Road Prawn Noodles is located at 370 East Coast Road.

37 Heng Kee House of Steamed Fish

Located at 17 Sims way, 37 Heng Kee House of Steamed Fish

is famous for the crab bee hoon and of course their steamed fish.

Heng Kee Curry Chicken Noodles

Located at #01-58, Hong Lim Food Centre, 531A Upper Cross Street is the very popular Heng Kee Curry Chicken Noodles. You know all the "hong lim" curry chicken noodles you see around Singapore? All those are pretty much copies of Heng Kee Curry Chicken Noodles. This stall has been around for many many years. I pretty much grew up eating curry noodles from this stall. The chef used to be the father, but the son has now taken over.
